LOW CENSUS/REDUCTION OF HOURS. When a reduction in hours becomes necessary on a day-to-day, shift-to-shift basis, the Employer shall use reasonable efforts to make such reductions on the affected shift, as follows: The Employer shall first ask for volunteers on the affected shift to leave as necessary to meet the required reduced hours of work; If volunteers do not meet the needs of the Employer, the Employer shall reduce the hours of work of the least senior employee on a rotating basis on the affected day and shift by job classification as necessary to meet the reduced hours of work.
