Span of HoursOrdinary daily hours must be worked within the span of hours limits of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Span of Hours. (a) The ordinary hours of work for a day worker will be between 6.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. (b) A shift worker is an employee who works ordinary hours outside the day worker span of hours.

Span of HoursThe employee’s ordinary hours of work can be worked on any day of the week Monday to Friday inclusive, between 06:00 AM and 06:00 PM. Provided the parties agree the working day beginning at 5.00am or at any other time between that hour and 8.00am, and the working time will then begin to run from the time so fixed, with a consequential adjustment to the meal cessation period.
