Common use of Maintenance of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Benefits. With respect to negotiable benefits, terms and conditions affecting members of this unit, which are not covered by the Agreement, but which are presently provided pursuant to law, written regulations, personnel rules, written directives, or special orders, the State agrees to make no changes without appropriate prior consultation and negotiation with the Union.
