Common use of Maintenance of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Benefits. With respect to negotiable benefits or terms and conditions affecting members of this unit which are not covered by this Agreement, but which are presently provided pursuant to law, written regulations, personnel rules, written directives or special orders, the State agrees to make no changes without appropriate prior consultation and negotiations with the Association.
