Common use of Maintenance Period Clause in Contracts

Maintenance Period. 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement or the termination of this agreement, the Contractor warrants to the City of Terrace for a period of 365 days from the date of Substantial Completion as shown on the Construction Completion Certificate, that all work in connection with this contract is free from any defect resulting from work done or material supplied by the Contractor, and the Contractor shall, to the satisfaction of the City or their representative, rectify any defect that exists within that period.
