Marking Assistance. (i) Marking assistance shall be provided for each course or section thereof having in excess of fifty (50) students. Courses that enroll more than fifty (50) students by the published Last Day to Add Courses date shall also qualify for marking assistance. (ii) Marking assistance shall be provided, if requested by the faculty member, when a faculty member’s total student enrollments exceed ninety (90) in a semester, and they have not received assistance under Clause 13.03 (G) (i). (iii) Notice that markers are needed shall be forwarded by the Division Chair to the Vice- President, Academic and Research as soon as the Division Chair is aware that markers are required in accordance with Clauses 13.03 (G) (i) and (ii). Such notice shall include the names and curriculum vitae of the recommended markers and the number of hours of marking assistance requested.

Courses that enroll more than fifty forty-five (5045) students by the published Last Day to Add Courses Drop Without Financial Penalty date shall also qualify for marking assistance.
