Material of construction. The can body and can lid shall be made from sheets of Aluminium alloy conforming to BIS designation 64304 (HS 30) of BIS: 737-1974 and handles and bottom band of BIS: 733-1975. Further, the cans shall be manufactured as per specifications laid down in BIS 1825/1983. Can body shall be made of single piece stream-lined construction formed by deep drawing/ spinning and subsequent spinning. Weld joints should be completely eliminated. Bottom shall be made from extruded section of aluminium alloy, rolled and brazed or welded, to ring shape. The bottom band shall be shrunk fit with proper locking arrangement on the body. This shall be followed by brazing or welding all sides flushed with bottom permitting draining of water and detergent from bottom of the reversed can. The lid should also be of the same aluminium alloy and with conical skirts provided with air equalizing holes. The lid to have mushroom shape to drain off any water outside. The lid should be provided with two nos. of punched holes near periphery of lid for sealing the can. The two-piece can lid should be perfectly spot welded at four points near periphery and one point at the centre followed by brazing all around. Handle shall be made of extruded Aluminium alloy bar, and properly bent to ensure a firm grip. The ends of the handles shall be rounded to avoid injury while handling. Each can to have 2 handles, one on each side of the shoulder.

  • Commencement of Construction Construction of the Project will start within thirty (30) days after notification to the Developer by the Owner, or as soon thereafter as weather and ground conditions permit.

  • WARRANTY OF CONSTRUCTION A. In addition to any other warranties in this Contract, the Contractor warrants, except as provided in Paragraph D. of this Article, that work performed under this Contract conforms to the Contract requirements and is free of any defect in equipment, material, or design furnished, or workmanship performed by the Contractor or any subcontractor or supplier at any tier.

  • Supervision of Construction The Recipient agrees to maintain competent and adequate engineering supervision at the construction site of any Project to ensure that the completed work conforms to the approved plans and specifications.
