Common use of MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT Clause in Contracts

MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT. Any materials developed by a faculty on his/her own time and using his/her own equipment and/or resources (e.g., not college owned property) are the property of the faculty for educational use, copyright, or publishing purposes. The College will be reimbursed by the faculty for any materials and for facility and staff usage associated with any commercial materials development, with the amount to be determined by the institution and the faculty.
