There will be circumstances where collaborative working between us will be the best way to enable us to discharge our respective responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
5.2 These areas of common interest include, but are not limited to matters that relate to promoting the use of appropriate standards of practitioner practice, to safeguard the public, promoting the implementation and dissemination of robust education and training standards, promoting the public interest as a primary concern and seeking to sponsor the implementation and sustainability of a culture that encourages consumer safety and the creation of a community of excellence in practice across the aesthetics industry.

There will be circumstances where collaborative working and the sharing of information between us will be the best way to enable us to discharge our respective regulatory and statutory responsibilities effectively and efficiently. This will be to the benefit of the apprentices, providers, and employers who access, develop and use the provision that IfATE makes available, and to the benefit of the providers that OfS regulates, and our mutual benefit by avoiding duplication and unnecessarily increasing regulatory burden.
Matters of common interest. 3.1 Whilst we are separate organisations with distinctive roles and responsibilities, there are a number of areas of common interest, in particular the validity and reliability of qualifications (including end point assessments), national assessment arrangements regulated by Ofqual and the public’s confidence in those qualifications and assessments.
