Medical Appointments for Employees. Employees should attempt to book appointments on a day off or during their off duty hours. When this is not possible, sick leave with pay shall be granted to Permanent Employees provided forty-eight (48) hours notice is given by the Employee (which will be waived by the Employer if an emergency exists), for the following: (a) routine medical and/or dental appointments not to exceed two (2) hours; and (b) minor medical and/or surgical procedures not to exceed four (4) hours.
