Common use of Medical Expense Reimbursement Clause in Contracts

Medical Expense Reimbursement. Provided it is deemed medically necessary we will reimburse you, up to a maximum of two thousand five hundred dollars (CAD 2,500), all reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred within twenty six (26) weeks of the date of Accident for the following: The services of a legally qualified physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath or registered nurse when ordered by a Licensed Physician; The purchase of hearing aids (but not including repair or replacement of same) - Prior approval by us is required for this benefit; Crutches, splints, orthotic devices, trusses, medical braces, rental of wheelchair or hospital bed; Prescription drugs; Casts and cast materials. This benefit applies secondary to your primary health insurance provider.
