MEETINGS BETWEEN THE PARTIES. At least once each three (3) months the Union President, and up to two (2) bargaining unit designees of the Union’s choice and the Chief, with or without the City Manager, shall meet at a mutually agreeable time and place to exchange views and discuss matters of mutual concern, including but not limited to safety issues. Prior to any permanent departmental change, the Union shall be notified in writing and a meeting of the parties can be arranged to discuss the change prior to implementation. This Section shall not be applicable to any matter that is the subject of the grievance that is being processed pursuant to the grievance procedure set forth herein.
