Pre-Employment Screening. Nothing in this Article shall limit or prohibit the City from requiring applicants for bargaining unit positions to submit to blood and/or urine specimens to be screened for the presence of drugs and/or alcohol prior to employment.
Pre-Employment Screening. (a) The Parties commit to cooperate in any trial of pre-employment screening for Cleaners in the event such a program is introduced during the lifetime of the Agreement.
(b) Prior to the implementation of such a trial, the Parties will hold discussions regarding the implementation of pre-employment screening.
(c) The Parties also commit to reviewing the pre-employment screening arrangements prior to the expansion of any such program beyond a trial.
Pre-Employment Screening. 15.2.1 Subject to Regulation, the Provider shall require any individual it employs or engages in connection with the performance of its obligations under this MSA to have satisfied the screening procedures set out in the RBSG Policy for India, prior to such individual performing any Services hereunder:
15.2.2 In the event that:
(i) the Provider is unable to comply fully with the pre-employment requirements above with respect to an individual;
(ii) any pre-engagement screening activity returns information that otherwise indicates in the Provider's reasonable judgment that such individual should not be engaged to provide Services under this MSA, then the Provider shall not engage the individual in relation to this MSA or any Service Schedule. If either Party receives any material correspondence from any Competent Authority that relates to the Services, it will provide a copy of that correspondence to the other Party unless it is prevented from doing so by Regulation or such Competent Authority. The Parties shall consult with each other over such correspondence and shall only respond to the Competent Authority if:
16.1.1 the terms of the response have been approved by the other Party (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed); or
16.1.2 Regulation requires a response to the Competent Authority without the other Party’s consent.
Pre-Employment Screening. All applicants for employment may be required to submit to testing for evidence of illegal/abusive drug and/or alcohol use. If an applicant tests positive, refuses to be tested, or tampers or attempts to tamper with the testing process, the applicant will not be hired. Applicants who present a valid pre-dated prescription for substance(s) for which they test positive or other satisfactory evidence of a legitimate medical explanation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Pre-Employment Screening. 15.2.1 Subject to Regulation, the Provider shall require any individual it employs or engages in connection with the performance of its obligations under this TSA to have satisfied the screening procedures in Sections 15.2.2 and 15.2.3 prior to such individual performing any Services hereunder.
15.2.2 The screening procedures set forth in Section 15.2.3 below shall apply to individuals who will be performing Services from within the United States. For individuals who will be performing Services from outside the United States:
(i) when RBSG or its Affiliates are the Provider, they shall comply with the RBSG Policy applicable to the relevant jurisdiction; and
(ii) when CFG or its Affiliates are the Provider, they shall comply with the CFG Policy applicable to the relevant jurisdiction.
15.2.3 For individuals who will have no unaccompanied access to any Recipient facility, and no access to the Recipient's information technology network or the Recipient's Confidential Information (“Level 1 Clearance”), the Provider shall have conducted commercially reasonable recruitment and security vetting procedures in relation to each such individual, including, at a minimum, by verifying such individual's identity and legal right to work in the United States based on documentation satisfying Form I‑9 of the U.S.
Pre-Employment Screening. The Township will maintain pre-employment screening practices designed to prevent hiring individuals who use tested-for substances and who are seeking positions with the Township. Candidates for employment by the Township will be required to submit urine samples for the purpose of screening for use of tested-for substances. This requirement will be publicized to those candidates. The Township will not offer employment to such candidates who do not complete the pre-employment screening process or who are found to use tested-for substances except when such use is for bona fide medical reasons and will not interfere with the ability to perform essential duties as determined by the Township's Medical Review Officer. Such candidates for employment will be required to sign a consent form agreeing to the mandatory pre-employment tests.
Pre-Employment Screening a. All signatory contractors may engage in pre-employment drug testing of Union members covered by the Commercial Carpenters and Floor Coverers’ Agreement (“Agreement”), as long as the pre-employment testing procedure is done as provided in the Substance Abuse Testing and Assistance Program, Exhibit A of the Agreement.
Pre-Employment Screening. Prior to any personnel providing Services to PGW hereunder, Consultant shall have performed appropriate pre-employment screening (i.e., criminal background and reference checks) for each person performing Services hereunder.
Pre-Employment Screening. The Association and (in the cases of apprentices) the Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) shall require all persons who have applied to work as an apprentice, classified worker, and metal trades mechanic to submit to a drug and alcohol test. The apprentice, classified worker, metal trades mechanic, and journeyman not previously tested will be required to submit to testing only after an Employer has made a request for a worker in that classification from the Union hall and prior to that person reporting to the Employer for work. The initial request for an apprentice, classified worker, metal trades mechanic or journeyman not previously tested shall be a conditional offer of employment. The Association will pay the costs of the test.
Pre-Employment Screening. 4.4.Pre-Employment Screening. At EUPISD’ request, Xxxx shall assist EUPISD’ with a pre-employment interview and/or screening program for all candidates for employment in the EUPISD Transportation Department. The screening program shall be designed to identify those candidates who may be suitable for assignment to the Transportation Services. Xxxx shall recommend to EUPISD Administration those prospective employees Xxxx believes meet the standards described in 3.3 “General Standard”. EUPISD will be responsible for all employee recruitment material, advertising and promotion, and community communications. Xxxx assumes no driver or attendant staffing responsibility under this Contract.
