Common use of MEMBER FUNDED LEAVE Clause in Contracts

MEMBER FUNDED LEAVE. The intent of the Member Funded Leave Plan is to provide a mechanism for Members who qualify, to take a one school year Leave of Absence which shall be funded by the Member through salary holdback with the Funded Leave taken at the end of the period of salary holdback. The Member must agree as a condition of the Funded Leave to indemnify the Board and the Bargaining Unit against any and all claims, liabilities or consequences arising out of a Member’s participation in this Plan.
