Common use of Membership Packets Clause in Contracts

Membership Packets. The Union may supply membership packets which contain information for distribution to new employees, including the role of the Union, the membership application and a copy of this Agreement, as well as other material mutually agreed to by the University and the Union. The University agrees to distribute such membership packets to new employees during the initial phase of employment and to other employees when necessary. If requested, the HOUMDNJ/CIR representative shall be allowed to meet with interested new employees during their orientation period at a time when they are not involved in training to explain the Union's responsibilities.
