Common use of Membership Rights Clause in Contracts

Membership Rights. A. The District agrees that it shall not directly or indirectly impede, restrain, or attempt to restrain any employee from belonging to the Association, taking an active part in Association affairs, or discriminate against any employee because of the employee’s Association membership or lawful Association activity. B. The Association and the District agree that they shall not directly or indirectly harass, coerce, or put pressure of any type on an employee to join or not to join or to support or not support the Association or any of its activities. C. District employees covered by this Agreement shall not be required to become members of the Association.
