METER READER. Meter Readers in areas south of Portage, Moose Pass and Xxxxxx Landing shall be provided with a vehicle equipped with a two-radio or cellular phone.
METER READER. An employee must be qualified to work with the public. The employee will read meters, verifying accuracy of meter numbers, meter locations, meter instructions, including surveys deemed necessary by the utility. Must pass meter reading aptitude test and physical ability test. Upon satisfactory completion of training which includes safety training, dog bite prevention training, meter pro online reading training, customer service training, and receiving on the job training, may be assigned to various duties of a reader. Will be required to work outdoors in any and all weather con- ditions. Will be required to report on tampered, inverted electric meters and report broken meter seats. Must be qual- ified to speak professionally to customers, always being courteous and respectful. Must be able to deal with change and difficult situations. Must be thoroughly familiar with Company Safety Rules.
METER READER. An employee who is engaged in reading water and electric meters, calculating consumptions and recording the readings. May be required to handle customer complaints and inspect meters for abnormal readings. Shall be required to operate a vehicle and to meet the public. The employee's background and experience must be such as to qualify the employee to perform duties with skill, efficiency, tact, and diplomacy.

Shall be familiar with city and rural meter reading sections, time schedules and routes. Shall know the Company's approved schedule of power rates and be able to compute any domestic or general service power bill. Shall know how meter multipliers are determined and used, and understand the meaning of the terms demand and energy. Shall be able to install, remove, bridge, or disconnect both "A" and "S" type meters. Shall be able to determine connected load and know Company regulations regarding the installation of demand meters. Xxxxx be able to record meter readings on written, punched, or mark sense type meter cards and shall be responsible for all funds collected and their deposit. Shall know the Company's General Regulations regarding the rendering of electrical service to a customer and report all infringements to the proper Company official. Shall disconnect or reconnect any customer as directed by the Commercial Office Manager. Meter Readers, while traveling to or from and on their assigned routes, shall report any electrical hazard, damage of Company property, or unusual conditions of Company property to their supervisor. A Meter Reader may be tested by written or oral examination to determine his/her proficiency and/or progress. DRAFTSPERSON Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, the draftsperson is responsible for preparing proper scale drawings, filing, and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a recognized Drafting Program. Ability to cope with varied assignments, working conditions and supervisors.

The Computer Systems have not materially malfunctioned or failed within the past three years.
