Method of Layoff. After proper notification as specified in Section 9.4.1, the employee with the least seniority within the respective classification of position as set forth in Section 9.2.1, shall be dismissed first. Whenever possible, the Board shall lay off part-time employees before laying off any full-time employees.

The Board shall lay off all temporary employees before laying off full-time employees. Whenever possible, the Board shall lay off part-time employees before laying off any full-time employees. Any employee who is a new hire after October 1 will not be eligible for recall.
