Employees with Professional. Teacher Status In the event that layoffs are necessary among employees with PTS, said employees currently teaching within the affected discipline(s) shall be laid off in the inverse order of seniority. Effective with the full ratification of the 2004-2007 Agreement, November 17, 2004, professional employees who have been reached for layoff will be allowed to bump the employee with the least seniority in other disciplines in which they are actively certified.
