Common use of Military Training Duty Clause in Contracts

Military Training Duty. 11.10.2.1 Any unit member in the service of the Employer for at least one year who is ordered to participate in military training duty (temporary military duty) shall be granted military leave with pay for the first 30 calendar days of such training duty. Any unit member in the service of the Employer for less than one year who is ordered to participate in military training duty shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for the duration of the ordered-military training period. A unit member requesting leave (paid or unpaid) for military training shall submit official verification requiring the training duty.
