Common use of Military Training Duty Clause in Contracts

Military Training Duty. a) A full-time employee who participates in annual military training duty of one (1) month or less as a member of the Armed Forces Reserves or the National Guard, and who has completed six (6) months of continuous full-time employment at the time he reports for such training duty, shall be granted a military pay differential for the period of such training duty up to two (2) weeks annually. Such military pay differential shall be the amount by which the employee’s normal wages for the period, calculated on the basis of his work-week up to a maximum of forty (40) hours, exceeds any pay received for such military training duty. All pay and allowances, with the exception of subsistence and travel allowances shall be included in determining military training duty pay. The employee involved shall have the responsibility of submitting documentary proof of his military training duty pay.
