Common use of Minimum or Maximum/Surcharges; Taxes Clause in Contracts

Minimum or Maximum/Surcharges; Taxes. You agree that you shall not set minimum or maximum transaction amounts or impose surcharges as a condition of honoring Visa and Mastercard debit cards. You may not surcharge credit card transactions unless (i) permitted by applicable law, and (ii) done in a non-discriminatory manner in relation to other credit cards. You may not add tax to any transaction unless so permitted by applicable law, and in such case, only if included in the transaction amount and not collected separately.
