Common use of MINIMUM WAGE GAP Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM WAGE GAP. The parties agree that should the minimum wage in the Province of Manitoba increase during the term of this agreement, the rates contained in Appendix B-1 will be adjusted so as to ensure that there is a minimum twenty-five (25¢) cent differential between any increment and the minimum wage.

MINIMUM WAGE GAP. The parties agree that should the minimum wage in the Province of Manitoba increase during the term of this agreement, the rates contained in Appendix B-1 to B-4 will be adjusted so as to ensure that there is a minimum twenty-five (25¢) cent differential between any increment and the minimum wage. The wage scales above the affected start rate will also be increased so as to create a ten (10¢) cent spread with the rate immediately below that rate. These adjustments will continue up the scale until such time as the Collective Agreement scale is higher than the adjusted scale.
