MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX. In the event of a change in the amount of the Ceding Company's liability on a reinsured policy due to a misstatement of age or sex, the Reinsurer's liability will change proportionately. Reinsurance premiums will be adjusted from the inception of the policy, and any difference will be settled without interest.
MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX. If the misstatement of the age or sex of a reinsured life causes an increase or reduction in the amount of insurance in your underlying policy, we will both share in the change in proportion to our original liabilities at the time the policy was issued.

If the amount of insurance provided by the policy or policies reinsured under this Agreement is increased or reduced because of misstatement of age or sex established after the death of the insured, the Reinsurer will share with the Ceding Company in this increase or reduction.

In the event of an increase or reduction in the amount payable under a policy due to a misstatement in age or sex, the proportionate liabilities under this Agreement will be the basis for determining each party's share of any increase or reduction. The Reinsured Policy will be rewritten from commencement on the basis of the adjusted amounts using premiums and amounts at risk for the correct ages and sex, and the proper adjustment for the difference in reinsurance premiums, without interest, will be made.
MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX. If the age or sex of the Annuitant has been misstated, the annuity payouts established will be made on the basis of the correct age or sex. If payouts were too large because of misstatement, the difference may be deducted by the Company from the next payout or payouts. If payouts were too small, the difference may be added by the Company to the next payout. Any overpayments or underpayments made by us will be charged or credited with interest at the rate shown on the Contract Data Page. Such interest will be deducted from or added to future payments.
MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX. If the amount of insurance provided by any policy or policies reinsured hereunder is increased or reduced because of a misstatement of age or sex that is established after the death of the insured, the Reinsurer shall share in the increase or reduction in the proportion that the net liability of the Reinsurer bears to the total of the net liability of the Ceding Company and the net liability of all reinsurers, including the Reinsurer, immediately prior to such increase or reduction. The reinsurance shall be restructured from commencement on the basis of the adjusted amount using premiums and reserves for the correct age or sex. The adjustment for the difference in reinsurance premiums and any associated commissions or allowances, dividends, policy value or reserves shall be made without interest.

If the Age or sex of any Annuitant has been misstated, future annuity payments will be adjusted using the correct Age and sex, according to Our rates in effect on the date that annuity payments were determined. Any overpayment from the Fixed Annuity Payment Options, plus interest at the rate of 4% per year, will be deducted from the next payment(s) due. Any underpayment from the Fixed Annuity Payment Options, plus interest at the rate of 4% per year, will be paid in full with the next payment due. Any overpayment from the Subaccount(s) will be deducted from the next payment(s) due. Any underpayment from the Subaccount(s) will be paid in full with the next payment due. PROOF OF AGE, SEX, OR SURVIVAL The Company may require satisfactory proof of correct Age or sex at any time. If any payment under this Contract depends on the Annuitant being alive, the Company may require satisfactory proof of survival.

With respect to Contract issue Age and other age driven features in the Contract, should We discover a misstatement of Age, We reserve the right to fully pursue Our remedies including possible termination of the Contract and/or revocation of any Age driven benefits. PROOF OF AGE, SEX, OR SURVIVAL We may require satisfactory proof of correct Age or sex at any time. If any payment under this Contract depends on the Annuitant being alive, We may require satisfactory proof of survival. DEFERMENT OF PAYMENTS We may defer making payments, subject to state requirements, from the available Fixed Account Option(s) for up to six (6) months. Interest, subject to state requirements, will be credited during the deferral period. SUSPENSION OF PAYMENTS We may suspend or postpone any payments from the Variable Portfolios if any of the following occur:
MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX. If the age or sex of the Annuitant has been misstated, the amount payable will be the amount which the Purchase Payments paid would have purchased at the correct age and sex.

If we find the misstatement of age or sex after the income payments begin, we will: - pay all amounts underpaid including interest; or - stop payments until the total payments are equal to the corrected amount. For purposes of the Misstatement of Age or Sex provision, interest will be calculated at an effective annual rate of 6%.
