Mitigation and Respite. ‌ The below mitigation and respite measures will be implemented for the works identified in this report and will be included as conditions for undertaking the work in the out of hours work permit. ▪ Plant and equipment noise verification monitoring (to confirm that proposed and actual activities are the same), ▪ Limit the use of multiple equipment at the same time while undertaking the same activity, where practicable, ▪ Limit activity duration as much as practicable, ▪ Use of non-tonal reversing alarms on all plant and equipment, ▪ Avoid shouting, car radios and loud talking, ▪ Use two-way radios where possible, ▪ Turn off plant and equipment when not in use or not required, ▪ Monitoring of behavioural practices, and/or ▪ Use of temporary noise hoarding around high noise generating activities, where safe to do so

  • Cessation and Resumption of Work 24.15.1 At the time employees cease work due to inclement weather the employer or the employers representative on site and the employee’s representative shall agree and note the time of cessation of work.

  • Investigations and Restoration The NTO shall promptly conduct investigations of equipment malfunctions and failures and forced transmission outages in a manner consistent with applicable FERC, PSC, NRC, NERC, NPCC and NYSRC rules, principles, guidelines, standards and requirements, ISO Procedures and Good Utility Practice. The NTO shall supply the results of such investigations to the NYSRC, the ISO, and, pursuant to Section 3.5.3 of the ISO Services Tariff, the other Transmission Owners. Following a total or partial system interruption, restoration shall be coordinated between the ISO control center and local control centers. The local control centers shall have the authority, in coordination with the ISO, to restore the system and to re-establish service if doing so would minimize the period of service interruption. The NTO shall determine the level of resources to be applied to restore facilities to service following a failure, malfunction, or forced transmission outage.

  • Redeployment and Redundancy 2.14.1 The parties acknowledge that the Public Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 (PSMA) and the Public Sector Management (Redeployment and Redundancy) Regulations 2014 (Regulations) provide the legislative framework for redeployment and redundancy for all Employees covered by this Agreement. If the provisions of this Agreement and the Regulations are inconsistent, the provision of the Regulations shall prevail.

  • Roles and Responsibilities of the Parties The AEDC and the URA each agree to assume and undertake their respective roles and responsibilities relating to the Project as set forth below:

  • Compensation and Fringe Benefits (a) The Company shall, during the Term of Employment, pay to the Executive as compensation for the performance of his duties and obligations a salary of $240,000 per annum. This compensation is subject to annual review and adjustment, as appropriate in the judgment of the Company. The compensation payable pursuant to this Section 5(a) shall be payable in equal semi-monthly installments on the last day of each such pay period.

  • Reimbursable Services Reimbursable Services are the services specifically identified in Paragraph 15.2 that are provided by the Architect/Engineer in conjunction with the delivery of Basic Services under this Agreement. Compensation for Reimbursable Services will be made when the services are complete.
