Modification in Calendar and Length of School Day. Subd. 1 Calendar: In the event of an energy shortage, severe weather, or other emergency, the School District reserves the right to modify the school calendar, and if the school is closed on a normal duty day(s) the teacher shall perform duties on such other day(s) in lieu thereof as the School Board or its designated representative shall determine, if any. Subd. 2 Workday. In the event of an energy shortage, severe weather, or other emergency, the School District further reserves the right to modify the length of the school day, as the School District shall determine, provided the total number of hours per week shall not be increased.
