Monitoring and Oversight. Grantee may be monitored by DFPS during the period of performance. Grantee must comply with all monitoring requirements and information requests. Grantee will monitor any subgrantees according to PEI guidance and requirements to ensure that subgrantees adhere to all requirements as they relate to this Grant Agreement. To ensure participant safety, Grantee must follow DFPS requirements regarding criminal background checks and records maintenance. Any person performing services under this award must have an approved DFPS background check. For any person to be approved for PEIRS database access, DFPS background check clearance must be obtained and completed every two years.
