Common use of Moonlight Courses/Assignment Clause in Contracts

Moonlight Courses/Assignment. Courses that annually contracted faculty who are asked and voluntarily agree to teach beyond their normal assignment for the quarter. This may include day, evening, weekend, or a course outside of their discipline or program. Moonlighting is paid at Step A of the associate faculty rate, and is paid during the quarter in which the service is delivered. Moonlight Assignments. Full-time faculty with moonlight assignments shall not have the right to bump associate faculty when a class is canceled, as long as load for the full-time faculty is maintained.
