Moving Days. 1. A Flight Attendant eligible to moving expense reimbursement pursuant to this Section shall be granted one (1) day off for each four hundred (400) miles, or fraction thereof, by the most direct AAA mileage between domiciles, free from duty to accomplish the move to the new domicile. Such days off must be consecutive and will be counted towards the Flight Attendant’s minimum days off for the month. 2. Such Flight Attendant will provide the Company with a written request for specific moving days by the tenth (10th) of the month prior to the month in which she/he wishes to move. If the Company cannot accommodate the Flight Attendant’s requested moving days, alternate scheduled days off as reasonably near to the requested days as possible, considering the needs of the service, will be offered. The Flight Attendant’s moving days request may not include the first three (3) days of any bid month, the last three (3) days of any bid month, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or between December 24th and January 3rd. Moving days shall be posted as known absences in the Flight Attendant’s PBS schedule. 3. If the Flight Attendant was unable to request moving days prior to PBS closing due to circumstances beyond her/his control (i.e. the displacement occurred after the close of bidding) and the effective date of the displacement is such that the Flight Attendants needs to move that month, the Company and the Flight Attendant will mutually agree on moving days. 4. Once the Company grants the moving days, the Flight Attendant will not be rescheduled to work on those days. 5. The Flight Attendant’s minimum monthly guarantee will not be reduced as a result of moving days.

Moving Days. 1. A When the Company requires that a Flight Attendant eligible to moving expense reimbursement pursuant to this Section shall move, the Flight Attendant will be granted one given, upon written request at the time of the monthly schedule bid, four (14) day consecutive (sequential, but not necessarily touching) work days off for each four hundred (400) miles, or fraction thereof, by the most direct AAA mileage between domiciles, free from duty to accomplish the in conjunction with her/his move to the new domicile. For moves exceeding one thousand (1000) miles from domicile, the Company will provide additional days off must of leave for every five-hundred (500) or part thereof, based on AAA mileage from previous domicile to the new domicile. (i.e. five (5) days of leave for one thousand five hundred (1,500) miles. Suchdays shall be consecutive in addition to a Reserve or lineholder’s regular days off. The Flight Attendant and Crew Scheduling will mutually designate which trips are dropped. If mutual agreement is unable to be reached, the decision will be counted towards made by the Inflight Department. Days off created by dropping trips for moving days will be in addition to any previously scheduled days off. Nothing herein will preclude the Company from granting additional moving days for extended moving distances.

If a Flight Attendant is not given moving days when the Flight Attendant’s minimum days off for Attendant has requested them (as reflected on the monthrequest submitted with the bid), the Flight Attendant will be considered on TDY status out of domicile commencing with the date requested and expenses in the Travel Expenses Section will apply until the beginning of the four day period.
2. Such The provisions of this paragraph will not change the minimum guarantee of the Flight Attendant will provide with respect to any trips dropped for the Company with a written request for specific moving days by the tenth (10th) purpose of the month prior to the month in which she/he wishes to move. Conflicting trips shall be dropped from the Flight Attendant was unable to request moving days prior to PBS closing due to circumstances beyond her/his control (i.e. the displacement occurred after the close of bidding) and the effective date of the displacement is such that the Flight Attendants needs to move that month, the Company and the Flight Attendant will mutually agree on moving days.
