Life Insurance PLACENTIA agrees to provide to all employees covered by this Memorandum of Understanding life insurance at its sole expense, in the amount of one times each employees' earnings, rounded to the next $1,000 with a maximum of $150,000 of coverage and $1,000 for spouse and children over the age of six (6) months. C. Dental Insurance PLACENTIA agrees to make available to all employees covered by this Memorandum of Understanding dental insurance, and to pay the full premium for employee and dependent coverage for said insurance, PLACENTIA reserves the right to select the insurance carriers, or to administer any fringe benefit programs that now exist or may exist in the future during the term of this Memorandum of Understanding. D. Optical Insurance PLACENTIA agrees to provide all employees covered by this Memorandum of Understanding optical insurance. Further, PLACENTIA agrees that it shall pay the full premium for employee and dependent coverage during the term of this Memorandum of Understanding. Other Insurance Programs. ‌ 7.2.1 The District will continue to pay the cost of premiums for the dental, vision, EAP, long term disability, and life insurance coverage as described in District policy for full-time regular employees in the bargaining unit.

Other Insurance Programs. The employer shall continue to provide other insurance plans, such as but not limited to, universal life, long-term disability, cancer, intensive care, family life coverage, and prepaid legal.
