Common use of Moving of Household Effects and Chattels Clause in Contracts

Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On transfer, the Employer shall arrange and pay for the following: a) Moving of household effects and chattels up to 7,000 kg, including any item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as a part of a load which includes hobbies, boats, outboard motors, washer, deepfreeze, and refrigerators. b) Comprehensive insurance to adequately protect the employee's household effects and chattels during the move up to a maximum of $25,000. c) Where necessary, insured storage, up to two months, upon production of receipts. d) The packing and unpacking of the employee's household effects and chattels.
