Mutilated, Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Note Sample Clauses

Mutilated, Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Note. If any Note becomes mutilated or is lost, stolen or destroyed, the Authority shall execute and deliver a new Note of like date and tenor as the Note mutilated, lost, stolen or destroyed; provided that, in the case of any mutilated Note, such mutilated Note shall first be surrendered to the Authority. In the case of any lost, stolen or destroyed Note, there first shall be furnished to the Authority evidence of such loss, theft or destruction satisfactory to the Authority, together with indemnity to the Authority satisfactory to the Authority. If any such Note has matured, is about to mature or has been called for redemption, instead of delivering a substitute Note, the Authority may pay the same without surrender thereof. Upon the issuance of any substitute Note, the Authority may require the payment of an amount by the Owner sufficient to reimburse the Authority for any tax or other governmental charge that may be imposed in relation thereto and any other reasonable fees and expenses incurred in connection therewith.
