Refund Policy After the cancellation period, the institution provides a pro rata refund of ALL funds paid for tuition charges to students who have completed 60 percent or less of the period of attendance. Once more then 60 percent of the enrollment period in the entire course has incurred (including absences), there will be no refund to the student. Application & Registration Fees are non refundable item. Books, supplies and any other items issued and received by the student would not be returnable. If you cancel the agreement, the school will refund any money that you paid, less any deduction for registration fee. If you withdraw from school after the cancellation period, the refund policy described above will apply. If the amount that you have paid is more than the amount that you owe for the time you attended, then a refund will be made within 45 days of the official withdrawal date. See Refunds section below. If the amount that you owe is more than the amount that you have already paid, then you will have to arrange with the institution to pay that balance. Official withdrawal date is on the student’s notification or school’s determination. If the student has received federal student financial aid funds, the student is entitled to a refund of moneys not paid from federal student financial aid program funds. Return of Title IV Special note to students receiving Unsubsidized/Subsidized/PLUS/Xxxxxxx loans, ACG/National SMART/Pell/SEOG grants or other aid, if you withdraw from school prior to the completion of the equivalent to 60 percent of the workload in any given semester, a calculation using the percentage completed will be applied to the funds received or that could have been receive that will determine the amount of aid the student earned. Unearned funds would be returned to the program in the order stated below by the school and/or the student. Student liability to loan funds will continue to be paid in accordance to the original promissory note terms. Funds owed by the student to the Grant programs are limited to 50% of the gross award per program received. Sample Calculation, completion of 25% of the semester earns only 25% of the aid disbursed or that could have been disbursed. If applicable, this would be the first calculation to determine the amount of aid that the student would be eligible for from the Title IV Financial Aid programs.
Refund Policies Merchant’s refund policies for American Express purchases must be at least as favorable as its refund policy for purchase on any other Card Brand, and the refund policy must be disclosed to Cardholders at the time of purchase and in compliance with Law. Merchant may not xxxx or attempt to collect from any Cardholder for any American Express Transaction unless a Chargeback has been exercised, Merchant has fully paid for such Chargeback, and it otherwise has the right to do so.
Market Risk The Portfolio acknowledges that any cash collateral provided by a borrower in respect of a securities lending transaction may be invested by Subadviser on the Portfolio's behalf at the Portfolio's risk, and if, upon termination of any loan, the cash collateral held by Subadviser for Portfolio's account is less than the amount required to be returned to the borrower under Subadviser's agreement with the borrower, the Portfolio will provide borrower with cash in the amount of any such deficiency. 3.4.
INDEX The index specified in the related Mortgage Note for calculation of the Mortgage Rate thereof. Initial LIBOR Rate: 1.10%.
Policy Dialogue 5. The Borrower shall keep ADB informed of, and the Borrower and ADB shall from time to time exchange views on issues related to structural adjustment, macroeconomic management, socially inclusive development, and governance and public administration reforms and ensuing policy and institutional reforms, and additional reforms that may be considered necessary or desirable, including the progress made in carrying out the policies and actions set out in the Policy Letter and the Policy Matrix.
OVERLAPPING CONTRACT ITEMS Products/services available in this Contract may also be available from other New York State contracts. Authorized Users will be advised to select the most cost effective procurement alternative that meets their program requirements and to maintain a procurement record documenting the basis for this selection.
Refund Procedures Upon the termination of this Agreement or residence application by the Resident, as detailed in section 8.02, the Residence may be entitled to a partial refund of Residence Fees, without interest, within eight (8) weeks of the Resident vacating the Residence or cancelling their residence application. The refund will be in the form of a cheque mailed to the Resident’s permanent address on file in the Resident’s name only. If a student requires a cheque to be reissued as a result of the resident not providing an updated address prior to vacating residence and/or canceling their residence application, a charge of $50 may be applied. Refunds are issued based on the following:
Cancellation/Refund Policy A Student wishing to cancel an enrollment or withdraw may complete a Withdrawal/Cancellation Form. This form is available at xxx.XXX.xxx or from the Registrar located in Suite 203. Health Career Institute will refund monies paid by students in the following manner: All monies will be refunded if the applicant is not accepted by the school or if the student cancels with in three (3) business days after signing the Enrollment Agreement and making payment. Cancellation after the third (3rd) business day, but before the first day of class, will result in a refund of all monies paid with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee. Any textbooks and uniform polo shirts that were issued must be returned to the school unused to receive the refund for those items. Refunds will be made within 30 calendar days of date of the cancelation with proper submission of a Withdrawal/Cancellation Form by the student. Written notification may be submitted by email, fax or in person. Refunds will be made within 30 calendar days of the first day of class if no written notification is provided by the student. Voluntary Political Action Fund Deduction During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall deduct the sum specified from the pay of each member of the Union who voluntarily executes a political action contribution wage assignment authorization. When filed with the Employer, the authorization form will be honored in accordance with its terms. The amount deducted and roster of all employees using payroll deduction for voluntary political action contributions will be promptly transmitted to the Union by a separate check payable to its order. Upon issuance and transmission of a check to the Union, the Employer's responsibility shall cease with respect to such deductions. The Union and each employee authorizing the assignment of wages for the payment of voluntary political action contributions hereby undertakes to indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that may arise against the Employer for or on account of any deduction made from the wages of such employee. The parties recognize that the Union is obligated under the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) to reimburse UW for its reasonable cost of administering the COPE check off in the parties' Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Employer and the Union agree that one-quarter of one percent (.25%) of all amounts checked off is a reasonable amount to cover the Employer's costs of administering this check off. Accordingly, the parties agree that the Employer will retain one-quarter of one percent (.25%) of all amounts deducted pursuant to the COPE check off provision in the parties' Collective Bargaining Agreement to reimburse the Employer for its reasonable costs of administering the check off.
Approach All investments are to be made using the value approach by investing in companies at prices below their underlying long term values to protect capital from loss and earn income over time and provide operating income as needed. With regard to equities, no attempt is made to forecast the economy or the stock market. The manager will attempt to identify financially sound companies with good potential profitability which are selling at large discounts to their intrinsic value. Appropriate measures of low prices may consist of some or all of the following characteristics: low price earnings ratios, high dividend yields, significant discounts to book value, and free cash flow. Downside protection is obtained by seeking a margin of safety in terms of a sound financial position and a low price in relation to intrinsic value. Appropriate measures of financial integrity which are regularly monitored, include debt/equity ratios, financial leverage, asset turnover, profit margin, return on equity, and interest coverage. As a result of this bargain hunting approach, it is anticipated that purchases will be made when economic and issue-specific conditions are less than ideal and sentiment is uncertain or negative. Conversely, it is expected that gains will be realized when issue-specific factors are positive and sentiment is buoyant. The investment time horizon is one business cycle (approximately 3-5 years). As regards bonds, the approach is similar. No attempt is made to forecast the economy or interest rates. The manager will attempt to purchase attractively priced bonds offering yields better than Treasury bonds with maturities of 10 years or less that are of sound quality i.e. whose obligations are expected to be fully met as they come due. We do not regard rating services as being an unimpeachable source for assessing credit quality any more than we would regard a broker's recommendation on a stock as being necessarily correct. In any form of investment research and evaluation, there is no substitute for the reasoned judgement of the investment committee and its managers.
