The Named Holiday Pay clause defines the employer's obligation to provide paid time off to employees for specific, pre-identified holidays. Named Holiday Pay. A Regular full-time employee who works on a Named Holiday shall be paid for all regularly scheduled hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one-half times (1½ x) the basic rate of pay, plus one (1) regular day’s pay.
Named Holiday Pay. An Employee obliged to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid for all hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one-half times (1 1/2X) their Basic Rate of Pay, plus:
(a) an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreed time; or
(b) when requested by an Employee, the Employee may receive payment for such day at their Basic Rate of Pay.
Named Holiday Pay. (a) A Full-Time Employee who works on a Named Holiday shall be paid for all regularly scheduled hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one- half times (1 1/2X) the Basic Rate of Pay plus:
(i) by mutual agreement, a day added to the Full-Time Employee’s next annual vacation; or
(ii) a mutually agreeable day off with pay in conjunction with the Full- Time Employee’s regular days off within thirty (30) days either before or after the Named Holiday; or
(iii) one (1) regular day’s pay.
(b) A Full-Time Employee who works on Christmas Day and the August Civic Holiday shall be paid for all regularly scheduled hours worked on the Named Holiday at two times (2X) the Basic Rate of Pay plus:
(i) by mutual agreement, a day added to their next annual vacation: or
(ii) a mutually agreeable day off with pay in conjunction with the Employee’s regular days off within thirty (30) days after the named holiday: or
(iii) one (1) regular day’s pay.
(c) All accumulated time in lieu of a Named Holiday not taken as of the first (1st) pay period after March 1st shall be paid out prior to March 31st of every year.
Named Holiday Pay. Except as modified by 26.03 (d) below, an Employee obliged to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid for all hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one- half times (1 1/2X) her their Basic Rate of Pay, plus;
(a) an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreed time; or
(b) by mutual agreement, a day with pay added to her their next annual vacation; or
(c) by mutual agreement, the Employee may receive payment for such day at her their Basic Rate of Pay.
(d) An Employee obliged to work on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, shall be paid for all hours worked on the named holiday at two times (2X) the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay plus:
(i) an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreed time; or
(ii) by mutual agreement, a day with pay added to her their next annual vacation; or
(iii) by mutual agreement, the Employee may receive payment for such day at her their Basic Rate of Pay.
Named Holiday Pay. Except as modified by 18.04 (d) below an Employee obliged to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid for all hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one- half times (1 1/2X) the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay, plus;
(a) an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreed time; or
(b) by mutual agreement, a day with pay added to the Employee’s next annual vacation; or
(c) by mutual agreement, the Employee may receive payment for such day at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay;
(d) an Employee obliged to work on Heritage Day and/or Christmas Day, shall be paid for all hours worked on the named holiday at two times (2X) the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay plus:
(i) an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreed time; or
(ii) by mutual agreement, a day with pay added to the Employee’s next annual vacation; or
(iii) by mutual agreement, the Employee may receive payment for such day at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay.
Named Holiday Pay. (a) Casual Employees required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid for hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one-half times (1.5X) their basic hourly rate of pay.
(b) Casual Employees shall receive payment in lieu of Named Holiday pay equal to four point four percent (4.4%) of their bi-weekly earnings in conjunction with their bi-weekly pay if they have worked for the Employer for 30 days during the previous twelve (12) months.
(c) A Casual Employee must be available to work Christmas Day, Boxing Day or December 31. A Casual Employee will indicate which of these dates they are available to work by December 1. If by December 1, the Casual Employee does not indicate which of these dates they are available to work, they are deemed to be available all three and shall work as scheduled.
Named Holiday Pay. A Full-time Employee who works on a Named Holiday shall be paid for hours worked on the Named Holiday at one and one-half times (1½X) their basic hourly rate of pay plus:
(a) by mutual agreement, a day added to the Full-time Employee’s next annual vacation; or
(b) a mutually agreeable day off with pay within thirty (30) days either before or after the Named Holiday: or
(c) If mutual agreement is not forthcoming regarding clause 21.03 (a) or (b) above, the Employer shall schedule a day in lieu or pay the Employee one (1) day’s pay.
Named Holiday Pay. An Employee obliged to work on a named holiday shall be paid for all hours worked on the named holiday at the rate of one and one half (1 1/2) times her basic rate of pay plus an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreeable time, no later than ninety (90) days following the named holiday. If mutual agreement cannot be reached, the banked day will be paid out at the basic rate of pay. Effective upon ratification of the agreement by the parties, Employees obliged to work on Christmas Day shall be paid for all hours worked on the named holiday at two times (2X) the basic rate of pay Plus, an alternate day off with pay at a mutually agreeable time, no later than ninety (90) days following the named holiday. If mutual agreement cannot be reached, the banked day will be paid out at the basic rate of pay.

(a) by mutual agreement, a day added to the Regular Full-time Employee's next annual vacation; or
(b) a mutually agreeable day off with pay in conjunction with the Regular Full- time Employee's regular days off within thirty (30) days either before or after the Named Holiday; or
(c) one (1) regular day's pay.
