Common use of National Aboriginal Day Clause in Contracts

National Aboriginal Day. Employees may attend the on-campus celebration in June of each year. If an employee wishes to attend the on-campus celebration, the employee is entitled to rearrange their work duties without loss of pay. In most instances the date of the celebration is known to employees well in advance, therefore the employee must notify their Supervisor as early as possible before the celebrations about their intent to observe the celebration.
