Negotiated Committees. Negotiated committees are those committees deemed necessary by the faculty and the administration for the proper functioning and governance of the institution. They are defined in the Negotiated Agreement. a. All negotiated committees should be clearly defined in the negotiated agreement. This should include their purpose and composition. b. It should be clearly stated how many faculty members serve on the negotiated committee. c. The Faculty Association President has the authority to assign faculty members to negotiated committees when these committees are required.
