Common use of Negotiations for Economic Provisions Clause in Contracts

Negotiations for Economic Provisions. The parties agree that negotiations for economic provisions of this Agreement shall take place on a yearly basis, and shall commence no earlier than February 1 and will conclude by June 1 of the school year in which negotiations occur, unless the parties otherwise agree. The term “Economic Provisions” shall include wages and economic benefits (such as holidays, sick leave, leaves of absence, benefit plans, etc.) for the Bargaining Unit. These negotiations may be solely between the SESP and the District or may include the representatives of other certified/recognized District employee groups, as agreed by the parties.
