Call Pay. Nurses placed on call shall be compensated at the rate of four dollars and twenty five cents ($4.25) per hour. Call shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing wage increases (longevity steps), benefits or overtime. If requested, a pager (beeper) will be made available for call. Call pay ceases when the nurse reports to work on call back.
Call Pay. Time spent on-call shall be compensated at the rate of $4.75 per hour. On-call pay will continue to be paid, in addition to the appropriate rate of pay, for any time worked during a call shift. If an RN is assigned on-call in excess of forty-eight (48) hours within a four-week posting period, the RN will be compensated at a rate of $6.00 per hour for all excess assigned hours. On each of the holidays designated in Section 9.3.3, time spent on-call shall be compensated at one and one-half times the normal call rate.

On-call compensation of $3.75 per hour, and $4.25 per hour on 5 holidays, shall be paid when the Employer requires a nurse who is not on duty to 6 remain available to report for work on short notice. A nurse placed on-call shall 7 continue to receive said compensation for the remainder of her/his normal on call 8 shift duration. On-call compensation shall cease, however, in the event the 9 nurse is called in to work.

Call Pay. If an employee is scheduled in by the Employer for duty not scheduled in advance and which is outside of and not continuous with the employee’s regular work period, the employee shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours work or two (2) hours pay.

Call Pay. On-Call Pay When an employee is assigned to "on-call" shall be paid an additional one (1) hour pay at regular rate for each eight (8) hours the employee is assigned to "on-call". If the employee is called back shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay or the appropriate overtime rate whichever is the greater. Notwithstanding the clause immediately above for each occasion the employee is assigned to "on-call" if the employee is called and is able to attend to the situation without returning to the workplace, shall be paid a minimum of one (1) hour's pay at the appropriate overtime rate. For the duration of the University's officially designated Christmas Break period only, when an employee is assigned to "on-call", shall be paid two (2) additional hours at regular rate of pay for each eight (8) hours the employee is assigned to "on-call". If the employee is called back shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay or the appropriate overtime rate whichever is greater.
