Network Outage, Damage and Reporting. Pathnet shall be responsible for: (a) any damage or network outage occurring as a result of Pathnet owned or Pathnet designated termination equipment in GTE wire center or access tandem; (b) providing trouble report status when requested; (c) providing a contact number that is readily accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; (d) notifying GTE of significant outages which could impact or degrade GTE's switches and services and provide estimated clearing time for restoral; and (e) testing its equipment to identify and clear a trouble report when the trouble has been sectionalized (isolated) to Pathnet service.
