New Engine Option Sample Clauses

New Engine Option. 2.1.2.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the “New Engine Option” or “NEO”), applicable to the Aircraft. The specification of the NEO Aircraft shall be derived from the current Standard Specification and based on the new Propulsion Systems, as set forth in Clause 2.3 below, and Sharklets, combined with the required airframe structural adaptations, as well as Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such NEO Aircraft. New Engine Option. Clause 2.1.1.1 of the Agreement is amended by replacing the words “Clauses 2.3.4, 2.3.5 and 2.3.6” with “Clauses 2.4.4, 2.4.5 and 2.4.6”.
New Engine Option. 2.1.1.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the “New Engine Option” or “NEO”) that will be applicable to the A319-100, A320-200 and A321-200 model aircraft. The specification of the A320 Family NEO Aircraft will be derived from the relevant Standard Specification and will include (i) as applicable, the Propulsion Systems set forth in Clauses 2.3.4, 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 below, (ii) Sharklets, (iii) airframe structural adaptations, and (iv) Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate A320 Family NEO Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer. 2.1.1.2 The Irrevocable SCNs include a modification to the design weights of the Standard Specifications as follows: It is agreed and understood that the above design weights may be updated upon final NEO specification freeze.
New Engine Option. 2.3.1 The Seller is currently developing a new engine option (the “New Engine Option” or “NEO”), applicable to the A319-100 / A320-200 / A321-200 aircraft. The specification of respectively the A319 NEO Aircraft, the A320 NEO Aircraft and the A321 NEO Aircraft shall be derived from the current A319-100 / A320-200 / A321-200 aircraft´s respective Standard Specification(s) and based on the new Propulsion Systems, as set forth in Clause 2.4 below, and Sharklets, combined with the required airframe structural adaptations, as well as Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such New Engine Option Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs respectively listed in Exhibit “B”, Exhibit “D” and Exhibit “F”, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer. 2.3.2 The New Engine Option shall modify the design weights of the Standard Specification(s) as follows: MLW 62.8t 66.3 t 77.3 t MZFW 58.8 t 62.8 t 73.3 t It is agreed and understood that the above design weights may be updated upon final NEO specification freeze. The respective A319-100, A320-200 and A321-200 aircraft Standard Specifications for the Aircraft, each as amended by the SCNs respectively set forth in Exhibits “B”, “D”, “F” hereto, are hereinafter referred to as the "Specifications" (and individually for each Aircraft type, as the “Specification”). The Specifications for the Aircraft may be further modified from time to time pursuant to the provisions of Clause 3 below.

The foregoing is currently reflected in the ***** listed in Exhibit B2, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer. VOI A320 Family PA - AMDT 9 – Ref. D11032737 - December 2011 7/53 With respect to each NEO Aircraft type, the NEO Aircraft Standard Specification together with the Irrevocable SCNs for the New Engine Option and Sharklets and any other issued and applicable SCN shall be referred to as the NEO Aircraft Specification.

In addition, each such specification shall also include Sharklets, required airframe structural adaptations and Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such New Engine Option Aircraft. The foregoing is currently reflected in the Irrevocable SCNs listed in Exhibits, A-4D and A-4E, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.

The specification of the Group 2 A320 Aircraft will be derived from the current A320 Standard Specification and based on the Group 2 A320 Aircraft Propulsion System selected by the Buyer in accordance with Clause 2.3.2 below, and Sharklets, as well as required airframe structural modifications and Aircraft systems and software adaptations required to operate such New Engine Option Aircraft. *****, the implementation of which is hereby irrevocably accepted by the Buyer.
