Common use of New Equipment and Classifications Clause in Contracts

New Equipment and Classifications. Prior to any new types of equipment and/or new classifications of employment for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement are put into use, the Company shall advise the Union as far in advance as possible, and not less than thirty (30) days prior to implementation, the matter shall become the subject of discussion between the Parties for rates governing such equipment and classifications of employment. The Companies and the Union shall finalize within thirty (30) days after such implementation a rate to be established and such rate to be retro-active to date of implementation.
