No Credit Grade. As per FIU No Credit (NC) Grade Policy #1360.050, a NC grade will be applied to grades of “D”, or “F” in any University Core Curriculum (UCC) course taken while enrolled at FIU as a dual enrollment student. The following criteria applies to the NC grade: • “No Credit” (NC) grade will be applied to grades of “D” or “F” in any UCC course taken while enrolled as a dual enrollment student. • Grades of “F0” are not eligible for NC grades. F0 grade is applicable only to students enrolled in the Dual Enrollment On-Campus Program, assigned for Failure based on non-attendance. • A maximum of two (2) NC grades can be applied in a term as a dual enrollment student. • For students that enroll in FIU as degree seeking students after high school graduation, NC grades may be applied a maximum of four (4) times (including any NC grade earned as a dual enrollment student). • NC grades are not calculated in the student’s FIU GPA. This code is listed on student’s FIU transcript and other academic documents like a letter grade. • The FIU Office of the Registrar will automatically apply NC grades at the end of the term. • Application of the NC grade does not exclude students from Academic Status for Warning, Probation, and Dismissal or meeting Continued eligibility criteria for the Dual Enrollment Program. Students that would have otherwise received a “D” or “F” are no longer eligible to continue in the Program. • NC grades are not applicable in cases where students are found responsible for academic misconduct. • Students wishing to have their original grade reflected on their transcript must petition the FIU Office of the Registrar.

  • Credit Hours Any hours worked under a Flexi-Tour or Gliding Schedule which are in excess of an employee’s basic work requirement which, upon management approval (e.g., that sufficient work to be performed exists), are worked at the request of the employee. Credit hours may be earned and used in quarter-hour increments. Credit hour use must be requested by the employee and approved by management in advance. A request to use credit hours will be granted, workload permitting.
