No Discrimination - Human Rights Code. The Employer and the Union agree that there will be no discrimination practiced by either of them, their employees or members against any employee in training, upgrading, promotion transfer, layoff, discharge or discipline because of race, creed, colour, age as defined in the Ontario Human Rights Code, sex, nationality, ancestry, place of origin, sexual orientation, physical handicap, marital or family status, except where such status places the individual in a conflict of interest.
