Common use of NO STRIKE COVENANT Clause in Contracts

NO STRIKE COVENANT. The Union agrees during the term of the Agreement it will not encourage, condone, or participate in any strike, slowdown (complete or partial), refusal to perform any work, or any other type of concerted work stoppage. It is agreed such activity is specifically prohibited during the term of this Agreement. It is agreed participation by an employee in such prohibited activity is cause for discipline, including dismissal for just cause. In the event such prohibited activity occurs, the school district will notify the Union of such, and the Union agrees it will take immediate action to end such prohibited activity.
