Common use of No Strikes, Slowdowns or Lockouts Clause in Contracts

No Strikes, Slowdowns or Lockouts. This Agreement is a guarantee by both parties that there will not be strikes, slowdowns or lockouts during the life of this Agreement. The Municipality and the Union agree to do nothing to provoke interruption of or prevent such continuity of performance of said employees, insofar as such performance is required in the normal and usual operations of the Municipality's business. The Union agrees that there shall be no work stoppages due to jurisdictional disputes. No employee will be terminated for refusing to cross a sanctioned and recognized picket line.
