No Strikes. Section 26.1 Neither the Union nor any employee shall engage in, induce, support, encourage or condone a strike, work stoppage, slowdown or withholding of services by employees. Section 26.2 The Union shall exert its best efforts to prevent any violation of Section 1 of this Article, and if such action does occur, to exert its best efforts to terminate it.

No Strikes. A. During the term of this Agreement or any written extension thereof, the University agrees that there shall be no lockouts by the University. The UAW, on behalf of its officers, agents, and members agrees that there shall be no strikes, stoppages or interruptions of work, or other concerted activities which interfere directly or indirectly with University operations during the life of this Agreement or any written extension thereof. The UAW, on behalf of its officers, agents, and members, agrees that it shall not in any way authorize, assist, encourage, participate in, sanction, ratify, condone, or lend support to any activities in violation of this Article. B. Any employee who violates this Article shall be subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment. C. The UAW shall immediately take whatever affirmative action is necessary to prevent and bring about an end to any concerted activity in violation of this Article. Such affirmative action shall include but not be limited to sending written notice to the home address of all employees engaged in prohibited activity informing them that the concerted activity is in violation of this Article, that engaging in such activity may lead to disciplinary action, and stating that employees engaged in prohibited activity must cease such activity and immediately return to work. D. Nothing herein constitutes a waiver of the University's right to seek appropriate legal relief in the event of a violation of this Article.
No Strikes. Apart from and in addition to any existing legal restrictions upon and remedies for work stoppages, the Union agrees to the following: a. During the term of this Agreement, neither the Union, nor its respective officers or representatives shall urge, call, sanction or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, or other concerted interference with normal District operations for any cause whatsoever. In the event of any actual or threatened strike, slowdown, or other work stoppage, the Union and its officers, representatives and affiliates shall take all reasonable steps within their control to avert or end the same; and b. Any employee engaging in any strike, slowdown, or other work stoppage may be subjected to discipline or termination under applicable law.

No Strikes. The Union agrees that it will not promote or support any unlawful strike under the Minnesota Public Employment Labor Relations Act. A strike is lawful if conducted as provided under the provisions of M.S. 179A.18. A strike is defined under the Minnesota Public Employment Labor Relations Act as a "concerted action in failing to report for duty, the willful absence from one's position, the stoppage of work, slowdown, or the abstinence in whole or in part from the full, faithful, and proper performance of the duties of employment for the purpose of inducing, influencing, or coercing a change in the conditions or compensation or the rights, privileges, or obligations of employment." No Strikes. During the term of this Agreement, neither the Union nor it members, agents, representatives, employees or persons acting in concert with them shall incite, encourage, or participate in any strike, sympathy strike, walkout, slowdown or work stoppage of any nature. In the event of any violations of any provisions of this Section by the Association, its members, or representatives, the Association shall, upon notice from the Board, immediately direct such Faculty members, both orally and in writing, to resume normal operations immediately and make every other reasonable effort to end any violations.
