Common use of Nominating Representative Clause in Contracts

Nominating Representative. The Bidder shall intimate the General Manager, FCI and/or Officers authorized to act on his behalf, the name of one or more responsible representative(s) authorized to act on his behalf in day to day working of the contract and produce power of attorney to the said effect. It shall be the duty of those representative(s) to call at the office of the General Manager(R), FCI or an officer acting on his behalf, every day and generally to remain in touch, with them, to obtain information about the programme of arrivals and dispatches and to report the progress of loading/unloading/ transportation and to take instructions in the matter.
