Grievance Representative. Employees presenting a grievance under Step 2 shall be represented by a representative of the Union.
Grievance Representative. Employees presenting grievances may choose to be represented at any step of the grievance procedure by the grievance representative of the Union.
Grievance Representative. The Association shall appoint one of its members as Grievance Representative, and may select an alternate to act in the absence of the Grievance Representative. The Grievance Representative shall be identified, and the City kept informed as to the member's identity at all times. Such member shall act as liaison between the City and the Association in grievance matters, and such duties shall include:
A. Attendance at Management-Labor Committee meetings.
B. Responsibility for posting Association notices on the Bulletin Board and policing it for improper materials.
C. Representing the Association in investigating and processing of grievances beginning at Step 2 of the Grievance Procedure.
D. Replacing a shift representative who is unavailable.
E. Notifying Management of the Association's intent to invoke or not to invoke any steps of the Grievance Procedure beyond Step 1.
F. General responsibility for handling grievances beyond Step 1. The Grievance Representative may be released at reasonable times upon request to participate in meetings and discussions with regard to grievances or aforementioned problem areas without loss of pay or benefits.
Grievance Representative. Employees have the right to raise and pursue grievances concerning wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. It is recognized that the employee has a right to representation in that process. The grievance representative shall be a Department employee from the rank of Captain or above. The duties of the representative include:
A. To identify issues, facts, and appropriate procedure for the employee;
B. To assist the employee in formulating written responses;
C. To be present and represent the employee in the grievance process. The representative is considered on duty only when representing the grievant when the grievance is being discussed with Management.
Grievance Representative. Three (3) RNs selected by the Association to act as 23 Association Representatives shall be known as Grievance Representatives. The 24 names of the Registered Nurses selected as Grievance Representatives and the 25 names of other Association representatives who may represent registered nurses 26 shall be certified in writing to the employer by the Association and the individuals 27 so certified shall constitute the Association Committee.
Grievance Representative. CSEA shall be permitted to designate the persons who shall be granted release time for processing grievances. “Processing grievances,” as used in this provision, means attending the meetings with school District administrators and the arbitration hearing, as set forth in the grievance procedure. These designated persons shall not leave their work station for grievance processing purposes without prior notification to the supervisor. Approval shall not be unreasonably withheld where an individual unit member is entitled to CSEA representation. Job Stewards shall have the right to receive reasonable periods of release time without loss of compensation for the processing of grievances. Whenever a meeting involving a supervisor/administrator and a grievant is held as part of the grievance procedure during the grievant’s normal assigned work day, the grievant shall be provided release time for attendance at that meeting. If the grievant requests a representative present at such a meeting, and the representative also requires release time in order to be present, such release time shall be granted by the supervisor. Any preparation for the grievance shall be done at times other than during working hours.
Grievance Representative. The ASSOCIATION shall designate one Professional Staff Member as its representative for processing grievances or concerns in each school building. Any Professional Staff Member may consult this representative for assistance; provided, however, any activity of this type shall be conducted at times which will not interfere with the normal classroom teaching duties of the Professional Staff Members involved.
Grievance Representative. The Board shall recognize a grievance representative in each building.

Grievance Representative. The Lodge President shall designate not more than one (1) Grievance Representative (Liaison Officer) who shall be a Lodge member. The Grievance Representative shall, upon supervisory approval, be permitted reasonable time, not to exceed eighty (80) hours per year, during the representative's regular work shift, without loss of pay, to perform authorized functions. Upon the approval of their immediate supervisor, the representative may modify his/her duty hours to attend a grievance and/or discipline hearing, only if the modification is no more than two (2) hours prior to the beginning or after the end of their assigned shift, providing the shift has two (2) or more persons on duty. Representatives will assign a grievance number to each grievance and maintain a log of all grievances filed.
