NON-COMPLIANCE WITH NOTIFICATION. (a) If the employee does not satisfy the criteria set out in sub-clause 22.3 the application will not be approved and the leave will be unauthorised and unpaid. (b) An employee whose application for sick leave is not approved will be subject to the Employer's disciplinary procedures for any such absence. The provisions of this clause with respect to payment do not apply to employees who are entitled to payment under the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981.
