Leave Entitlements. (a) A sessional practitioner shall be entitled to pro rata leave entitlements (excluding paid overseas study leave) in the same ratio as the number of sessions allocated bears to 10. If during any qualifying period the number of sessions allocated to a sessional practitioner varies, the number shall be averaged over the qualifying period.
(b) A sessional practitioner shall be entitled to paid public holidays in accordance with Clause 31 – Public Holidays if the public holidays occur on a day on which a session is normally worked. If a sessional practitioner is required to work on a public holiday the provisions of Clause 28(6) shall apply.
Leave Entitlements. The leave allowance for Deputy Principal is the same as that operating for permanent whole-time teachers subject however to the completion of the work of the session before Summer vacation. Leave is granted in accordance with the conditions laid down by the Minister for Education and Skills from time to time for permanent whole- time teachers.
Leave Entitlements. Leave entitlements, including annual leave, annual leave loading, long service leave, personal leave, compassionate leave, parental leave and community service leave will be granted in accordance with the NES, the Long Service Leave Act 1987 (SA) and the Award. Note that casual employees are not entitled to paid personal (sick) leave or annual leave. Parental Leave will be in accordance with the NES and any other legislative scheme in force at the time.

Leave, other than annual leave and long service leave, will only be available to the staff member during the periods or seasons of work for which the seasonal, part year staff members are engaged.

Employees are entitled to the leave entitlements of a full-time employee on a proportional basis determined by the number of annualised ordinary hours required to be worked within the year. The timing of taking annual leave and long-service leave will be determined by the University in consultation with the employee.

(b) A sessional practitioner will be entitled to paid public holidays in accordance with Clause 35 – Public Holidays if the public holidays occur on a day on which a session is normally worked. If a sessional practitioner is required to work on a public holiday the provisions of Clause 32 – Shift, Weekend and Public Holiday Penalties subclause (5) will apply.
Leave Entitlements. All leave entitlements, approvals and takings will be managed in accordance with the University’s policy, procedures and guidelines as amended from time to time. Continuous periods of any form of leave without salary greater than 1 month will not count as service for the accrual of paid leave. This excludes unpaid parental leave taken in conjunction with paid parental leave, where paid leave accrues for periods of up to and including 3 months.
Leave Entitlements. Annualised hours staff members will be entitled to receive the leave entitlements of a full time staff member on a proportional basis determined by the number of annualised ordinary hours required to be worked by the staff member within the year.
